1. Bobby Roode captures World Title
-- Well, since Impact is taped, Roode actually defeated his long-time and now former tag team partner "Cowboy" James Storm to win the belt on October 25th, however it aired for the 1st time last Thursday. Roode employed some underhanded, shady tactics(i.e., a beer bottle) to gain the victory. Afterwards, Roode put the bad-mouth to his former best friend. Storm will surely be looking for payback tonight...
2. TNA Impact Wrestling Announces Training Program with OVW
-- TNA Impact Wrestling announces that they are entering into an exclusive relationship with Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW), effective immediately, as the official training and developmental facility for TNA's current and future starts of TNA Impact Wrestling. Former wrestling star and OVW owner Danny Davis will work closely with TNA SVP of Programming and Talent Relations Bruce Prichard in the development of the talent through training, live events, and weekly television production allowing talent to explore every aspect of the business.
3.AJ Styles suffers injury
-- AJ Styles said on Twitter he injured his ankle at last Friday's TNA Wrestling live event in Battle Creek, Michigan. He wrote Saturday morning, "Rolled out of bed to see how the ankle was after last night......Not good, crap!" Asked how bad his ankle is, he responded, "Not sure, hope I'm ready by next Sunday."
*UPDATE: On Tuesday, it was revealed that AJ styles has a grade 2 ankle sprain. It keeps a normal person out 2 to 4 weeks, but he's going to try to wrestle this Sunday.
